Experienced Professor of Fisheries Management with over 15 years of academic, research, and administrative experience in higher education. Passionate about aquaculture development, fisheries sustainability, food security, water quality management, and environmental research.
Currently serving at the University of Benin, Nigeria, with extensive experience in teaching, postgraduate supervision, institutional leadership, and international academic collaborations.

Vice-Chancellor, University of Benin Professor Edoba Omoregie holds a PhD in Law from the University of Benin (2010) bagged the Master of Laws (LLM) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in Law from the same University in 1999 and 2010 respectively. He was conferred with the prestigious statutory rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN)
